Ken Eklof was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has one sister, Annebel Meredith, who has worked with him on several, if not all of the Liken movies. He served an honorable full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the Stockholm, Sweden Mission, which is where both of his parents were from, so he already knew the language. He has, as Dennis Agle put it, "A mad scientist thing about him. When Ken mentions a gag, you do it." He's been in the LDS pageant in Nauvoo two years in a row now, playing Brigham Young. He's been in numerous shows around the country. Ken is also a family man in a major way. He has 7 children, who are all just as crazy as he is, if not more so. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Rachel Mathews
During a liken shoot, Ken can go days without sleeping, that's how dedicated he is to his work. Many times he'll stay overnight to strike one set and put up the set for the next day's shoot. The first time Ken ever shaved his beard, his son Johnny (15 at the time) was almost scared to look at him, since he'd never seen his dad with a clean shaved face before. At Christmas, to make sure all the kids are good, everyone in the family calls Ken to play "Santa Clause"
